Jos de Graauw & Mex van de Werd

Jos de Graauw, owner at DEGRAAUWTRADING has started the car business in 1984 in a small town in the Netherlands.

Autodidact mechanic, former race car and dirtbike rider, there was a natural interest in horsepower and vehicles, therefore American cars.

This American car business took flight after meeting up with the North American family  in 1992.

The business in America was founded in 1995 , at first called R&D trading.

Later called degraauwtading,we started buying from  live auctions in America with a larger automotive partner, to buy more volumes.

This partner retired, making DEGRAAUWTRADING one auction purchasing company.

We ourselves switched to become an auction house only recently .

We make sure we have anywhere from 40-80 vehicles in stock at all time.

We auction all of our vehicles of on a 2 months bases

Also recently, Mex van de Werd joined our team, to ensure smooth transitions between all partners.

Mex is the appointed spokesperson for Degraauwtrading.

As a young professional he has developed a natural feel for the automotive industry, and is continuously developing his skills to maintain the level of professionalism
